Lia has made Homeopathic medicine the specialty in her private practice for 35 years. Families call from all over the country especially to use this natural approach to health care whenever a health challenge arises – or to prevent one! She studied Homeopathy at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital. Also, her knowledge is extensive of homeopathy, diet, nutrition, stress reduction, and lifestyle. Lia is past president of the Council on Homeopathic Certification, and Founder and past president of the Homeopathic Nurses Association, a professional organization for nurses using Homeopathic Medicine, www.nursehomeopaths.org. In 2005 Lia founded WellBeing Community Clinic – an integrative free clinic in Taos, NM offering complementary healthcare choices for the underserved community. Lia has taught hundreds of introductory and intermediate homeopathy classes reaching thousands of individuals and healthcare professionals nationwide. She enjoys helping families become self-sufficient using homeopathy for common ailments at home. Her courses confer 7.5 continuing education units for nurses and 6 units for acupuncturists. |
